Project Cars gameplay. Ford Mustang 2+2 at Imola. This 8 lap race shows how you can lose 16 places during the course of a race and still come away smiling. I'm sure Mr Steve McQueen would be ashamed of me though :-) <br /> <br />The AI beat the living shi* out of me over these 8 laps and I made a fair few mistakes of my own but battling with cars that refuse to give an inch and insist on hitting you even when you give them room makes for some interesting racing. <br /> <br />My biggest problem with the car itself was some pretty severe brake fade at the end of the start/finish straight into Tamburello and down the hill into the penultimate corner at Rivazza - I just couldn't get the Mustang to slow in time even when trying earlier and earlier braking points. Those tyres don't help either :-) <br /> <br />Despite the poor finish and the constant incidents, I managed to dip into the low 2m 22s bracket on my fastest laps which is far from slow in the Mustang. The AI were at 80% and there was no way I could stay with the leaders, even without the mistakes. <br /> <br />If you're looking for a challenge yourself, give this one a go, it's a lot of fun. I set the race up in early August with a start time of 1pm and fixed clear weather. All assists off.
